Hermitage Clinic in Lucan, Co. Dublin, is seeking a CNM1 in Endoscopy to lead nursing services and drive quality care. You will work as part of frontline management, shaping service development and maintaining strong links with Medical Consultants and other hospital staff.

The role emphasizes leadership, staff development and contributing to annual reviews, budget planning and patient-centred care within a private hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Five years of post-registration nursing experience in an acute hospital setting.
• Post-registration course in Endoscopy nursing (Higher Diploma or Post Grad) preferred.
• ACLS or equivalent advanced life support training desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Unit/Ward nursing services to ensure safe, efficient and high-quality care.
• Plan and monitor human and budget resources for an effective service.
• Develop and implement endoscopy nursing services and innovations.
• Ensure care is based on latest research and best practices.
• Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality and compliance with standards.
• Foster communication with Medical Consultants and multi-disciplinary teams.
