Job summary

City of Springfield Human Resources is seeking an EMR analyst to support Springfield Health Services for the Homeless Health Center (HSH Health Center) clinical software programs. You will liaise with IT vendors and the EMR Core Committee to implement and maintain electronic medical records.

You will configure EMR functions to support care processes, provide hands-on end-user support, and train staff while upholding HIPAA and data integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Health Science, IT or a related field plus 3+ years in clinical applications analysis.
• Experience with practice management systems and electronic medical records.
• Experience in healthcare operations and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Serve as EMR SME for practice management operations.
• Design, build content for online forms and clinical workflows.
• Identify data integrity issues and propose solutions.
• Coordinate EMR training for staff on an ongoing basis.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.
• Attend QI Committee meetings and support data analysis.
