Job summary

Barrg Healthcare is seeking Social Care Workers and Support Workers for Cork Day Services. You will support individuals with disabilities through person-centred care and meaningful activities, promoting independence and community participation across Cork City and county.

Roles include eight-hour shifts Mon-Fri, with locations in Mayfield, Millstreet and Monahan Road. Must have permission to work in Ireland, driving licence, and relevant QQI/BA qualifications with CORU registration.

Qualifications

• QQI Level 5 Health or Social Care required, or two modules with commitment to complete full award
• BA or QQI Level 7 in Social Care or relevant qualification
• CORU registration as Social Care Worker required

Responsibilities

• Support individuals with intellectual or physical disabilities and autism
• Assist with daily living activities and mobility
• Promote meaningful community participation and equal citizenship
• Maintain accurate records and provide activity reports to management
• Attend staff meetings and contribute to care plans
