Job summary

RecruitNet International Ltd is seeking an experienced Staff Nurse to join the Emergency Department team at a hospital in Dublin, Ireland. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years’ post‑registration ED nursing experience and strong clinical assessment, prioritisation and emergency care skills.

The role requires Ireland-based applicants and offers relocation support and extensive career progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Registered or eligible for registration with NMBI
• Minimum of three years post-registration nursing experience
• Six months’ experience in an emergency or acute care setting is desirable
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage a busy workload and prioritise tasks
• Commitment to delivering a high-quality patient-focused service
• Willingness to undertake additional training and extend nursing roles

Responsibilities

• Accountable for own professional practice in line with Scope of Professional Practice and Beacon Hospital policies
• Provide high-quality nursing care using individualised care plans
• Monitor and manage complaints and incidents with escalation for investigation
• Maintain high standards of patient care within the department
• Supervise and support junior nursing staff during shifts
• Promote learning and professional development
• Engage with current nursing practice developments to enhance knowledge
• Identify and contribute to potential nursing research areas
