Cpl Healthcare is delighted to partner with a leading acute hospital in Cork to recruit a Clinical Nurse Manager 1 (CNM1) for its Emergency Department. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced nurse to take the next step in their leadership career within a fast-paced clinical environment.

Qualifications

• Active NMBI registration is required.
• Minimum of 3 years' acute nursing experience.
• Previous Emergency Department experience is essential.
• Leadership experience or a management qualification is desirable.
• Excellent clinical assessment and prioritisation/decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team within a busy clinical environment.
• Commitment to delivering exceptional patient-centred care.

Responsabilités

• Provide clinical leadership and operational support within the Emergency Department.
• Coordinate safe, effective and evidence-based patient care.
• Support, supervise and mentor nursing staff.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures and professional standards.
• Assist in workforce planning, rostering and resource management.
• Promote a culture of continuous quality improvement and patient safety.
• Collaborate effectively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
