CPL Healthcare invites applications for a Clinical Nurse Manager 1 (CNM1) in the Emergency Department of a leading Cork acute hospital. The CNM1 will provide clinical leadership, oversee safe patient care and support nursing staff in a fast-paced ED environment.

The role requires active NMBI registration, a minimum of 3 years in acute nursing and essential ED experience, with leadership credentials desirable. A competitive salary and development opportunities are offered.

Qualificações

• Active NMBI registration.
• Minimum of 3 years’ recent acute nursing experience.
• Previous Emergency Department experience is essential.
• Leadership experience or a management qualification is desirable.
• Excellent clinical assessment, prioritisation and decision‑making skills.
• Strong communication, leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team within a busy clinical environment.

Responsabilidades

• Provide clinical leadership and operational support within the Emergency Department.
• Coordinate and oversee the delivery of safe, effective and evidence-based patient care.
• Support, supervise and mentor nursing staff.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures and professional standards.
• Assist in workforce planning, rostering and resource management.
• Promote a culture of continuous quality improvement and patient safety.
• Collaborate effectively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Support staff training, professional development and performance management initiatives.
