Job summary

NHS Scotland is seeking a dedicated Emergency Department Assistant for a 34.5-hour fixed-term post in the ED, available until 01 January 2027. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years’ HCSW experience in an acute area.

The successful candidate will work closely with nursing and medical staff within the department and have the opportunity to undertake training specific to the Emergency Department.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ HCSW experience in an acute area.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with ED nursing and medical staff.
• Contribute to a positive team environment in a busy, sometimes stressful ED.
• Utilise initiative and carry out duties as required.
