Job summary

Zendesk, Inc. seeks an EMEA Tax Manager in Ireland to lead tax compliance, reporting, governance, and planning across EMEA, partnering with Finance and the global Tax team to drive scalable tax processes.

You will manage R&D tax-credit claims in Ireland, Poland, and Portugal; oversee transfer pricing, Pillar Two, CbCR, and data documentation; and advance automation in tax workflows to improve speed and accuracy.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of corporate or international tax experience, including in-house multinational exposure across EMEA
• AITI/CTA qualification or equivalent professional tax credential with corporate/international focus
• Experience with corporate tax compliance, reporting, and managing external advisers
• Experience in tax accounting, transfer pricing, and cross-border tax matters

Responsibilities

• Lead EMEA corporate tax compliance, reporting, and governance with internal partners and external advisers
• Manage R&D tax-credit claims in Ireland, Poland, and Portugal and assess incentives in other EMEA jurisdictions
• Oversee regional tax accounting activities, including provisions and cash tax planning with the global Tax team
• Monitor transfer pricing framework across EMEA and advise on cross-border transactions
• Support Pillar Two, CbCR, data collection, analysis, and documentation
• Lead responses to tax authority enquiries and manage audit processes
• Guidance on indirect tax matters including e-invoicing and tax compliance for acquisitions and restructurings
• Strengthen tax controls and explore automation/AI to improve efficiency and insight
