Zendesk is seeking an EMEA Tax Manager to run and scale the regional tax function across Ireland and other EMEA markets. You will ensure tax compliance, reporting, governance, and planning while leveraging technology to streamline processes.

The role requires deep technical tax expertise and experience coordinating with external advisers in a fast-moving multinational environment. Hybrid work and global collaboration are key parts of the role.

Qualifikationen

• 7+ years of corporate or international tax experience across multiple EMEA jurisdictions.

Aufgaben

• Lead EMEA corporate tax compliance, reporting, and governance with internal partners and advisers.
• Manage R&D tax-credit claims in Ireland, Poland, and Portugal; assess incentives in other EMEA jurisdictions.
• Lead regional tax-accounting activities including provision inputs and cash-tax planning with global Tax team.
• Monitor transfer-pricing framework across EMEA; advise on cross-border tax matters.
• Support Pillar Two, Country-by-Country Reporting, and public CbCR processes including data collection and documentation.
• Lead responses to tax authority inquiries and manage tax audits and risk assessments.
• Oversee indirect tax workstreams and evolving e-invoicing requirements.
• Lead tax workstreams for acquisitions, restructurings, cash repatriation, and strategic projects.
• Strengthen tax controls, documentation, data quality, and automation opportunities.
