Job summary

eTeam is seeking a Payroll Analyst II to support accurate, timely payroll operations for employees in Ireland and the wider EMEA region. You will partner with People, Finance, Benefits and external payroll vendors to manage inputs, reconciliations, inquiries, reporting and controls.

The role emphasizes compliance with Irish payroll laws, data privacy, and process improvements, with opportunities to grow expertise in payroll operations and vendor management across a growing international business.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on payroll operations experience, ideally supporting Ireland/EMEA.
• Familiarity with Irish payroll, tax, and statutory requirements is preferred.
• Ability to handle confidential data with integrity and discretion.

Responsibilities

• Review and validate payroll inputs, including hires, leavers, compensation changes, benefits, deductions, time/absence data, and bank-detail updates.
• Prepare payroll files and reconcile payroll registers, funding reports, GL outputs, and variances; resolve exceptions with internal partners and vendors.
• Respond to employee payroll inquiries with discretion and strong service orientation; maintain payroll documentation and audit evidence.
• Standard business-hours schedule with flexibility for payroll cutoffs and month-end activities.
• Performance measured by payroll accuracy, on-time delivery, quality of reconciliations, SLA adherence, and stakeholder feedback.
• Use approved AI tools to draft process documentation, summarize non-sensitive operational trends, and improve workflows. Candidate should demonstrate sound judgment around data privacy, validation, and human review when using AI.

• Disqualifiers: insufficient payroll processing/reconciliation experience; inability to work with highly confidential compensation and banking data; weak Excel/data-validation skills.
