Job summary

BNY Mellon is seeking a senior leader to head the EMEA Fund Accounting Operations for a strategic client based in Dublin. You will provide strategic and day-to-day leadership for NAV production, pricing, controls, and client deliverables, acting as the EMEA owner for a single client and building relationships with senior stakeholders.

• Extensive fund accounting expertise across NAV production, valuation methodologies, complex instruments, and accounting standards for mutual funds, ETFs, and alternatives.
• Proven leadership of large, high-performing operational teams.
• Exceptional client-facing capability with experience influencing senior client stakeholders.
• Strong cross-functional influence within global organisations and comfort in a matrix environment.
• Control-focused mindset with strong analytical capability.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment and adapt to evolving client needs.
• Ability to operate independently while knowing when to collaborate.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• Advanced degrees or professional qualifications such as CFA, CPA, or ACCA are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead NAV production, pricing, controls, and client deliverables for the EMEA Fund Accounting Operations.
• Act as EMEA owner for a single client and build relationships with senior client stakeholders.
• Oversee daily NAV production and valuation controls across the Fund Accounting lifecycle.
• Collaborate with Global Product, Technology, Risk, Middle Office, and Functional Utility stakeholders.
• Lead onboarding, conversions, and product launches for new funds and complex structures.
• Strengthen the control environment, manage audit interactions, and remediate risk themes.
• Champion automation, digital tools, data-driven solutions, and AI-enabled capabilities.
• Serve as senior escalation point for break resolution, valuation challenges, and client-impacting incidents.
