Job summary

European Tech Recruit are working with a leading semiconductor company based in Cork to recruit a Security Software Engineer. The role covers all software layers of the device architecture, including user and kernel space, across multiple environments and hardware.

Ideal candidates have strong C programming skills, embedded hardware knowledge, cryptography experience, and familiarity with ARM and RISC-V architectures, ARM TrustZone, and JTAG debugging. On-site in Cork.

Qualifications

• Strong C programming skills and secure programming practices.
• Solid understanding of embedded hardware and driver concepts.
• Strong understanding of software and computer architecture concepts.
• Strong grasp of operating system concepts (tasks, signals, timers, priorities, deadlocks, stacks, memory management).
• Experience with JTAG-enabled devices and software debuggers.
• Working knowledge of cryptography and secure protocols.
• Experience with ARM MSM/AMSS development.
• ARM and RISC-V architecture and software development experience.
• Experience with on-chip simulators/emulators.
• Experience with ARM TrustZone architecture.

Responsibilities

• Work on all software layers of the device architecture, including user and kernel space.
• Debug across different software environments and on hardware.
