Job summary

Stryker, based in Cork, is seeking an Embedded Linux Software Engineer – R&D for a permanent hybrid role in Carrigtwohill. You will develop in C/C++ and Qt, enabling communication between embedded devices and supporting hardware-software integration.

Responsibilities include testing and troubleshooting deployed applications, debugging at system level, and contributing to safe, robust solutions in a medical technology environment.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of a Degree (level 8) in a suitable subject (e.g. Computer Science / Software Engineering) or equivalent technical background
