Job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Email Marketing Manager based in Ireland.

Join an early-stage digital product business and take ownership of building its email marketing function from the ground up. You will shape the lifecycle marketing strategy for a B2C subscription product, turning customer insights and behavioral data into measurable revenue growth. Your mission will cover the entire email funnel, from onboarding and abandoned checkout flows to retention, upselling, and win-back campaigns. You will have the autonomy to develop strategies, launch experiments, and optimize performance in close collaboration with Product, UX, and Analytics teams. This is an opportunity to influence key business decisions while establishing scalable marketing processes. You will work in an international, results-driven environment that values initiative, experimentation, and continuous improvement.

Accountabilities

You will own email marketing performance end to end, developing and optimizing lifecycle campaigns that improve customer engagement, conversions, retention, and revenue.

  • Audit existing email flows, including abandoned quiz and checkout sequences, onboarding, upselling, retention, and win-back campaigns, and prioritize improvements based on their potential business impact.

  • Build and maintain a structured backlog of hypotheses and A/B tests covering subject lines, offers, timing, messaging, and flow logic.

  • Design, launch, and evaluate experiments, documenting results and identifying opportunities to scale successful initiatives.

  • Segment audiences based on behavior, funnel stage, geography, and quiz responses, using customer data to personalize communications.

  • Analyze the complete email conversion funnel, from delivery and opens to clicks, checkout activity, purchases, and revenue.

  • Collaborate with Product and Analytics teams to establish reliable tracking and attribution and measure email's contribution to business performance.

  • Monitor deliverability and maintain domain reputation and mailing list health, including bounce, spam complaint, and unsubscribe rates.

  • Ensure consent management and email marketing practices comply with applicable regulations across international markets.

  • Write and optimize email copy, working alongside the UX team, which is responsible for design.

  • Recommend new opportunities to expand the email marketing channel and present data-backed strategies and performance insights to the CEO.

Requirements

The ideal candidate combines hands-on lifecycle marketing expertise with strong analytical capabilities and a proven ability to generate measurable commercial results through email.

  • At least 2 years of commercial experience in Email Marketing, CRM, or Lifecycle Marketing for B2C subscription-based products.

  • Proven ownership of email channel performance from strategy and campaign development through to purchases and revenue generation.

  • Demonstrated success in increasing email-driven revenue or sales, with the ability to explain the actions taken, measurement approach, and business impact using concrete figures.

  • Practical experience independently building, configuring, and launching lifecycle and trigger-based email flows.

  • Strong A/B testing skills, including hypothesis development, results evaluation, and decisions about which initiatives to scale.

  • Ability to analyze and interpret key business metrics, including purchase conversion rate, revenue per send, customer lifetime value (LTV), and retention.

  • Understanding of attribution and incrementality measurement.

  • Strong knowledge of email deliverability, including domain reputation, SPF, DKIM, DMARC authentication, IP and domain warming, and inbox placement recovery.

  • Hands-on experience with email service providers such as Customer.io, Reteno, Braze, Klaviyo, or similar platforms, particularly segmentation, automation flows, and reporting.

  • Experience managing email campaigns across international Tier-1 markets.

  • Understanding of email consent and compliance requirements, including GDPR, ePrivacy, CAN-SPAM, and CASL.

  • Intermediate English proficiency or higher.

  • Strong analytical thinking, initiative, ownership, and the ability to work independently in an evolving environment.

Nice to have
  • Experience with Amplitude, Tableau, or other analytics and business intelligence tools.

Benefits
  • Opportunity to build a digital product's email marketing function from the ground up and contribute to key strategic decisions.

  • Autonomy and freedom to take initiative, shape processes, and influence business growth.

  • Collaborative environment with experienced professionals who share knowledge and support one another.

  • Continuous learning through internal and external talks, courses, and development opportunities.

  • Fully remote work, with the option to work from an office in Kyiv or coworking spaces in Lviv and Warsaw.

  • Flexibility to exchange a working day with a weekend day when needed.

  • 28 working days of paid annual vacation.

  • Up to 30 days of sick leave, in addition to all public holidays.

  • Medical insurance and access to a Mental Health program.
