Job summary

Cycling Ireland is seeking a HP Pathway Coach to deliver and develop a pathway programme transitioning U16 to senior international racing. You will work with the HP Pathway Lead, HC and NTC to provide coaching across nutrition, psychology, physiology, and performance lifestyle, including international duties for junior and U23 teams.

Qualifications

• Eligibility to work in Ireland on a full-time basis.
• Excellent command of English, both spoken and written.
• Recognised cycling coaching qualifications or working towards them.
• Experience in HP pathway, talent ID, or long-term athlete development.
• Full unrestricted driving licence and ability to travel.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and develop the HP pathway programme from youth to senior levels.
• Lead athlete programming, periodised programming, and regular reviews.
• Advise on matters related to major event qualification and selection.
• Deliver Junior to U23 training domestically and internationally; lead teams abroad.
• Collaborate with CI staff and Sport Ireland Institute for performance support.
• Provide reports, insights and monitoring data to the HP Pathway Lead.
