Job summary

MSA Safety in Ballbrit Galway, Ireland is hiring a Production Assembly Associate to prepare and assemble electronic components into PCB assemblies and insulate enclosures per documented procedures. You will perform board preparation, testing, and functional verification, with cross-training across multiple manufacturing cells.

The role emphasizes light mechanical assembly, hand soldering, and routine equipment operation and maintenance, following IPC-A-610 standards and your team’s quality

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Aptitude for mechanical/process concepts.
• Able to perform precise assembly and testing tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform light mechanical assembly of enclosures and components.
• Prepare and test Printed Circuit Boards and assemblies.
• Conduct functional testing and record results for quality checks.
• Participate in cross-training across Manufacturing Cells and operate/maintain equipment.
• Hand soldering and SMT/THM component placement on PCBs.
