Job summary

Kiernan Engineering is seeking qualified Electricians and Apprentices for a large-scale Pharma Facility construction project in Cork. This full-time role offers at least 2 years of guaranteed work, focusing on electrical installations and team collaboration.

Benefits include a bike-to-work scheme, pension, and further education incentives. Candidates should have a FETAC Level 6 Electrical Craft Certificate or equivalent, with relevant experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience as an Electrician preferred.
• Apprentices 1st to 4th year welcome.
• Experience in Commercial, Industrial and Pharmaceutical projects is desirable.
• Manual Handling Certificate and Safe Pass preferred.

Responsibilities

• Installation of electrical apparatus and equipment.
• Testing and commissioning of electrical installations.
• Installation of containment services and associated components.
• Cabling installation, terminating and glanding.

Skills

Ability to work on own initiative

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Knowledge of electrical circuitry

Education

FETAC Level 6 Electrical Craft Certificate or equivalent

As part of our ever-growing expansion of Kiernan Engineering require qualified Electricians and Apprentices for large-scale Pharma Facility construction Project in

Electricians, Apprentices, Long‑term projects with a guarantee of a minimum of 2 years plus in Cork, Lodge, RCT Rates available.

Key Functions

• Ability to work on own initiative
• Installation of electrical apparatus and equipment
• Testing and commissioning of electrical installations
• Installation of containment services and associated components
• Cabling installation, terminating and glanding
• Ensure all QHSE requirements are fulfilled prior to work commencing
• Working as part of a team on multi-disciplined projects
• Knowledge of electrical circuitry and safe electrical installation methods, on site.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
