Job summary

Vertiv Ireland Limited in Burnfoot, Co. Donegal, is seeking skilled Electricians for multiple opportunities. You will wire and assemble LV/MV switchgear and control panels, working to engineering drawings and production schedules in both factory and customer-site settings.

Reporting to Production Manager/Supervisors, you’ll join a dynamic team focused on high quality workmanship and safety. Relevant City & Guilds electrical qualifications and 17th Edition are essential, with on-site installation

Qualifications

City & Guilds Electrical Qualification & AM2 or Equivalent.
Experience in Electrical switchgear manufacture or similar.
Experience in field service work / on-site installations.
Current 17th Edition Certification.

Responsibilities

Assembling electrical switchgear and related electromechanical equipment based on drawings and schedules.
Maintaining high-quality workmanship in factory and customer sites.
Reading technical drawings, schematics and manuals for precise assembly.
Fitting, building and constructing parts for integration.
Carrying out mechanical and electrical maintenance, site modifications and thermal imaging inspections.
Keeping a clean, safe work environment following company policies.
Completing testing of panels, including current injection testing.
Mentoring team members and sharing technical expertise.
Reporting substandard or defective parts immediately.
Measuring and selecting components for proper fit.
Carrying out MTOs and ordering materials for tasks and sites.
Assembling prototype and development units with supervision.
Producing thermal imaging reports and maintaining records.
