Job summary

Vertiv is seeking skilled Electricians to join our team in Burnfoot, Co. Donegal. You will be responsible for electrical wiring and mechanical assembly of LV/MV switchgear and control panels in a fast-paced environment.

Reporting to the Production Manager, you’ll work from drawings and manuals, maintain high workmanship standards on site and in the factory, and contribute to testing, RAMS, and practical on-site installations.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds Electrical Qualification & an Engineering Apprenticeship with AM2 or Equivalent.
• Experience in Electrical switchgear manufacture or similar.
• Experience in field service work / on-site installations.
• Current 17th Edition Certification.

Responsibilities

• Assembling electrical switchgear and related electromechanical equipment based on engineering drawings and production schedules.
• Maintaining high-quality workmanship standards both in the factory and at customer premises.
• Working from technical drawings, schematics, and manuals to ensure precise assembly.
• Complete testing of panels, including current injection testing.
• Mentoring team members and sharing technical expertise.
