The successful candidate will support a team of electricians with installation and maintenance tasks. Prior experience in a similar role is essential, alongside valid Safe Pass and Manual Handling certifications. This position offers a great opportunity to work with a well-established contractor.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working as an Electrician's Mate is essential.
• Experience in commercial and/or industrial projects is required.
• Valid Safe Pass and Manual Handling certifications are necessary.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Own transport desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist qualified electricians with installation and maintenance works.
• Perform cable pulling and containment installation.
• Adhere to site health and safety regulations.
• Ensuring work areas are kept clean and safe.
• Adhering to all site health & safety regulations.
• Supporting the electrical team to ensure projects are delivered on time and to specification.

PE Global are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrician’s Mate to join our client, a leading electrical contractor based in Cork City.

This is an excellent opportunity to work with a well-established contractor delivering high-quality electrical installations across commercial and industrial projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting qualified electricians with installation and maintenance works
• Cable pulling, containment installation (tray, ladder, trunking, conduit)
• Assisting with wiring, terminating, and testing
• Ensuring work areas are kept clean and safe
• Adhering to all site health & safety regulations
• Supporting the electrical team to ensure projects are delivered on time and to specification

Requirements:

• Previous experience working as an Electrician’s Mate (essential)
• Experience on commercial and/or industrial projects
• Valid Safe Pass and Manual Handling (required)
