Job summary

Pacific Lumber Remanufacturing Inc. is seeking an experienced electrical technician to install, service, and repair electrical controls and panel boxes at our Surrey, BC location.

The role requires 1–2 years of hands-on experience, a secondary graduation certificate, and the ability to perform on-site work with standard 40-hour weeks at a rate of 38.50 CAD per hour. You will document maintenance activities, read blueprints, test circuits, and participate in preventive maintenance programs while

Qualifications

• 1 year to less than 2 years experience in electrical maintenance or related field.
• High school graduation certificate or equivalent required.
• On-site work only; no remote work option.

Responsibilities

• Install electrical controls and panel boxes
• Replace and repair electrical controls and panel boxes
• Keep maintenance reports and documentation
• Splice, join and connect wires
• Test and measure voltage, loads, ground faults integrity of circuits
• Troubleshoot and isolate faults
• Install surface mount and/or overhead cables
• Conduct preventive maintenance programs
• Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications
• Commission systems and components
