Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking an electrically skilled facilities technician to join our team across multiple sites in Ireland. You will support the facilities management team, schedule self-delivery and subcontractor maintenance, and help deliver planned and reactive works to keep buildings safe and efficient.

The ideal candidate has an electrical trade qualification, a full driving licence, and the right to work in the EU.

Qualifications

• Hard services experience in commercial environments
• Electrical knowledge and ability to maintain building systems
• Experience with building services installations including HVAC/Electrical is preferred

Responsibilities

• Liaising with Facilities Manager to schedule self-delivery and subcontractor maintenance
• Assisting FM Team prepare progress reports and provide information for reporting
• Manage planned maintenance schedules and resources for each building
• Logging & updating site maintenance tasks on CMMS and keeping records
• Support in short & long term projects as required
• Maintenance of building lighting systems and replacement of fittings
• Report to facilities team and escalate issues when needed
• Foster a proactive approach to H&S and ensure work is compliant

As part of your role, your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Liaising with Facilities Manager, Assistant FM & Hard services Co-ordinator to schedule self-delivery PPM’s Sub-Contractor PPM’s & reactive works.
• Assisting FM Team prepare progress reports and provide information for reporting
• Work with the FM team to manage planned maintenance schedules & resources for each building under facilities team remit
• Logging & updating site maintenance related tasks on CMMS & keeping of hardcopy file back-up off maintenance records
• Provide support in the implementation of short & long term projects as required
• Maintenance of building lighting system including replacement of fittings and lamps on an ongoing basis
• Report to and take direction from building facilities team whilst resolving issues at site & escalating when needed
• Foster a proactive approach to H&S & ensure work is

The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:

• Must have Right to Work in the EU
• Qualified in Electrical trade
• Full Driving Licence as the role will require working on different sites
• Experienced in maintaining commercial environments & providing hard services
• Demonstrate a good working knowledge of building services installations including HVAC/Electrical & other technical systems
• Experience in CMMS and/or CAFM applications (SAP, Maximo, PEMAC, Concept Evolution, eMaint) is beneficial
