Activ8 Solar Energies is seeking a qualified Electrician to install and commission domestic Solar PV systems from our Cashel location in County Tipperary. The role includes six weeks of training, a full-time permanent position, and a competitive salary with benefits.

The Solar Electrician will install panels and electrical components, conduct inspections, troubleshoot issues, verify performance, and provide customer support while ensuring safety standards and project timelines.

Qualifications

• Qualified Electrician with 3+ years of domestic experience.
• Live within a commutable distance of Cashel, Co. Tipperary.
• Knowledge of electrical codes and standards.
• Experience with electrical testing equipment and tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsabilités

• Install solar panels and electrical components according to Safe electric specifications and SEAI code of practice.
• Conduct electrical inspections and maintenance on solar systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues in solar systems.
• Test and verify system performance using specialised equipment.
• Provide technical assistance to customers regarding their solar systems.
• Work with the team to ensure projects are completed on time.
• Keep accurate records of all work performed and materials used.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards.
