Job summary

RED, part of Tractebel, is hiring an Electrical Technical Director to base in Dublin or Cork. You will lead the electrical team, guide design and coordination for building services, and work with clients to define requirements and deliver value.

The role requires chartered status or equivalent, strong project management and international delivery experience, and a proactive approach to risk, margins and compliance. Hybrid working is supported.

Qualifications

• BSc/BEng in engineering or equivalent.
• MCIBSE/MIEE and Chartered Engineer status or equivalent.
• Significant experience in building services design and international project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the electrical team in Ireland.
• Coordinate engineering design and project services with the client and stakeholders.
• Manage project feasibility, fees, budgets and schedules.
• Ensure compliance with Irish regulations and industry standards.
• Deliver high-quality technical reports and presentations.
