Job summary

RED Engineering Design seeks an accomplished Electrical Technical Director to lead the Irish electrical team from our Dublin or Cork office. You will drive design, coordination, and client liaison across building services projects, while supporting business strategy and ensuring robust financial performance.

The role demands Chartered Engineer status with MCIBSE/MIEE, and extensive experience in specification design, international projects, and health and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Significant experience of specification design for a range of building types.
• Experience managing projects abroad (desirable).
• Knowledge of health & safety issues and legislation.

Responsibilities

• Leads the electrical team in Ireland and supports Directors with strategy and management.
• Manages project services design, coordination, and client liaison.
• Performs cost and profit diagnosis, feasibility studies, and fee proposals.
