Job summary

CBRE seeks an Electrical Supervisor to oversee a team responsible for inspecting, repairing, replacing, installing, wiring, adjusting, and maintaining electrical equipment at an assigned location.

They provide support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems, ensuring work aligns with schedules and code, while coaching staff and driving CBRE values across functions.

Qualifications

  • Electrical trade school diploma or equivalent experience with 5–8 years in related roles.
  • Prior shift management or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical codes and safety practices.
  • Proficient with Word, Excel, Outlook and basic software tools.

Responsibilities

  • Create work schedules for the electrical staff.
  • Inspect and assess the work done by the electrical staff; ensure on-schedule delivery and code compliance.
  • Read and interpret design schematics to ensure proper installation of electrical systems.
  • Troubleshoot major complex system failures and equipment malfunctions.
  • Assist the team with repairing and maintaining electrical equipment.
  • Oversee the purchasing and maintenance of electrical equipment.
  • Apply advanced knowledge to develop new methods for objectives.
  • Coach others to develop expertise across functions.
  • Lead by example and align with CBRE RISE values.
  • Impact outcomes across multi-discipline teams.
  • Follow functional policies shaping procedures and plans.
  • Contribute to new products, processes, standards, and plans.
