Traffit is seeking an experienced Electrical Site Manager for a major engineering and construction project in Munster, Ireland. The role leads electrical site delivery from mobilisation through installation, testing, commissioning and handover, coordinating with subcontractors and multidisciplinary teams.

Ideal candidates will have a recognised electrical apprenticeship, five years’ experience in electrical site management, and proven ability to manage design-and-build projects above €5 million.

• Experience managing electrical design-and-build projects valued above €5 million.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications and technical documentation.
• Proven experience managing subcontractors and multidisciplinary site interfaces.
• Strong understanding of project programmes, quality procedures and commercial requirements.
• Excellent leadership, planning and communication skills.
• IOSH, NEBOSH or equivalent safety qualifications are advantageous but not essential.
• Experience on Data Centre, pharmaceutical, industrial or other technically demanding projects is highly valued.

Responsabilidades

• Review construction drawings, specifications, method statements and risk assessments.
• Maintain accurate site records, progress updates and marked-up drawings.
• Identify variations and work with the Project Manager and Quantity Surveyor on change control.
• Ensure installations meet project specifications and quality requirements.
• Lead toolbox talks, site briefings and daily safety inspections.
• Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with project HSEQ procedures.
• Support system testing, commissioning, certification and client handover.

Electrical Site Manager – Munster, Ireland

The opportunity

We are recruiting an experienced Electrical Site Manager to lead site delivery on a major engineering and construction project in Munster.

You will take responsibility for electrical activities from site mobilisation through installation, testing, commissioning and final handover. This is a hands-on leadership position requiring strong coordination, safety awareness and the ability to manage subcontractors and site teams effectively.

What we are looking for

Recognised electrical apprenticeship, trade certificate or equivalent qualification.

At least five years’ experience in electrical site management.

Experience managing electrical design-and-build projects valued above €5 million.

Strong knowledge of electrical construction, installation and commissioning.

Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications and technical documentation.

Proven experience managing subcontractors and multidisciplinary site interfaces.

Strong understanding of project programmes, quality procedures and commercial requirements.

Excellent leadership, planning and communication skills.

Confident representing the project team during client meetings and technical workshops.

Good computer skills and accurate reporting ability.

IOSH, NEBOSH or equivalent safety and environmental qualifications would be advantageous but are not essential.

Experience on Data Centre, pharmaceutical, industrial, commercial or other technically demanding projects will be highly valued.
