Job summary

King & Moffatt Building Services is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee all site elements of complex mechanical and electrical projects. You will ensure on-site delivery, safety compliance, and timely progress against plans.

You will lead and train teams, manage subcontractors, coordinate plant, permits and deliveries, and report progress while upholding EHSQ policies. SMSTS/SSSTS and electrical qualifications are essential.

Qualifications

• Qualified Electrician with site management experience.
• Experience in a Site Manager or similar role.
• SMSTS or SSSTS qualification.
• Experience in leading and coordinating teams.
• Project management experience is beneficial.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Up-to-date manual handling and Safe Pass.

Responsibilities

• On site delivery and compliance of EHSQ, Toolbox talks, RAMS, PPE.
• Ensure all relevant permits are in place.
• Coordinate plant hire, tools and labour on site.
• Direct and train apprentices to manage deliveries and daily checks.
• Oversee labour, site supervisors and subcontractors.
• Execute commissioning and close out plan.
• Close out snag lists.
• Deliver labour tracker.
• Attend internal K&M team planning meetings.
• Manage external correspondence.
• Order day-to-day site materials.
• Update progress information.
• Maintain K&M Document Management System.
• Project scheduling.
• Communicate changes to project team.
• Project quality reporting and monitoring.
• Oversee testing certification and handover.
• Comply with EHSQ policies.

Job Description

In this role, you would be responsible for managing all site elements of the project for King and Moffatt, while ensuring full project deliverables are achieved.

What you would do:

Qualifications

• Qualified Electrician
• Previous experience in a Site Manager or similar role
• SMSTS or SSSTS
• Experience of managing and leading teams
• Project Management experience beneficial
• Computer literate with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Up to date manual handling & safe pass
