Job summary

Kirby Group Engineering is seeking an Electrical Site Manager to represent the Project Manager on major construction sites, taking lead from pre-mobilisation through commissioning and demobilisation. You will deliver a varied range of projects safely, on time, and to budget, coordinating with multi-functional teams and subcontractors.

The role emphasizes leadership, on-site problem-solving, and maintaining high safety and quality standards across all phases of projects.

Qualifications

Recognised electrical apprenticeship or trade certificate and strong site-management background.
Experience leading electrical design and build projects over €5 million.
Strong computer abilities and proficient in project coordination tools.
Professional acumen to represent Kirby Group Engineering at senior meetings.
Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to lead across teams.

Responsibilities

Assist PM in developing construction programme and short-term look-ahead planning.
Visit site to establish site plan and manage change with PM.
Lead on safety, HSEQ and site safety processes.
Review construction drawings and ensure quality procedures are followed.
Develop and update short-term programmes aligned with the master schedule.
Coordinate with sub-contractors and clients to ensure on-time delivery.
Maintain site diary and manage documentation and progress reporting.
