Job summary

ProSource Group is seeking a Project Manager to join our growing team, specializing in commercial and Data Centre electrical projects. The role involves coordinating with management, procurement and clients, planning resources, and ensuring project delivery on time and to spec.

Applicants should have trade qualification or engineering background with at least 3 years post-qualification PM experience and strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems. Based in Ireland, Dublin area.

Qualifications

• Trade qualified or engineering background.
• 3 years post-qualification experience in Project Management.
• Proven record of coordinating and managing medium/large electrical installation projects.
• Good technical knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Attend project meetings and become familiar with project details and specifications.
• Liaise with management, commercial and procurement to issue contracts, purchase orders and change orders per policy.
• Establish performance criteria and ensure client requirements are met.
• Plan resources including labour, materials and subcontractors.
• Coordinate and deliver project plant and equipment.
• Manage and drive the team to meet project requirements and deadlines.
• Identify and track project risks and manage RFIs and site labour tracker.
• Maintain weekly progress reports and manage changes as needed.
• Contribute to cost estimating and value engineering with project cost data.
• Work with main contractors and client-site teams; provide input on technical submittals.

ProSource Group are working with an Electrical Contractor who have been specialising predominantly in commercial and Data Centre projects. Due to their continued expansion, they are seeking to recruit a Project Manager to join our growingteam.

Responsibilities of the role will include:

• Attend project meetings and become familiar with all details and specifications of the project
• Liaise with the Management / Commercial / Procurement team to ensure contracts, purchase orders, payment certs and change orders are issued in accordance with company policies
• Establish performance and delivery criteria, ensuring that client requirements are being met
• Planning of all resources including labour, materials, and sub-contractors
• Coordination and delivery of project plant and equipment
• Manage and drive the team to meet all project requirements and deadlines
• Identify and track project risks
• Raise and manage RFI’s and manage site labour tracker
• Progress report to be maintained weekly, report on and manage any changes
• Develop and administer quality control provisions and liaise on project cost estimating and value engineering, as appropriate
• Work with main contractors and the client-based site team
• Provide input on technical submittals as required

Education & Skills Required:

• Trade qualified and/or an Engineering background
• 3 years post qualification experience in Project Management
• Proven record of coordinating and managing medium / large electrical installation projects
• Good technical knowledge of both electrical and mechanical systems
