Job summary

EPS Group is hiring an Electrical Project Engineer / Electrical installations Supervisor to join our design team. You will coordinate inputs from design disciplines, supervise LV installations, ensure safety standards, and drive documentation and BIM processes for water and wastewater projects.

The role requires on-site experience, client-facing skills, and proficiency with MS Project and BIM 360. A 3rd level qualification in electrical engineering or safety management is expected.

Qualifications

• 3rd level qualification in Electrical Engineering / Safety management.
• Experience in water or wastewater projects is preferred.
• Willingness to learn and contribute to the water industry.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate process, mechanical and electrical designer inputs within a design team.
• Supervise LV electrical installations and ensure H&S standards (LOTO).
• Assist with electrical design requirements using site data and BIM Level 2.
• Manage project documentation and BOQ items for electrical works.
• Prepare electrical engineering reports and support procurement activities.
• Develop goals and plans to meet deadlines in water/wastewater projects.

Electrical Project Engineer / Electrical installations Supervisor

Key Tasks and Responsibilities.

• Working within a dynamic Design Team Environment
• Co-Ordination of Process & Mechanical & Electrical designer inputs.
• Support EPS appointed designers with the development of electrical design requirements with site data.
• Supervision of LV electrical installations and associated H&S standards. LOTO.
• Undertake project documentation management All designs & supporting information is delivered using a BIM (Building Information Modelling) Level 2 solution in accordance with Irish Water Specifications and the agreed BIM execution plan.
• Assisting with Electrical purchasing and acquisition of all BOQ items for projects including labour, parts and materials.
• Writing electrical engineering reports.
• Have a willingness to learn and be challenged in the water and waste water Industry.
• Have proven experience in an electrical engineering environment.
• Implementing opportunities and initiatives in a time restricted schedule.
• Develop specific goals and plans to prioritise, organise and accomplish stated deadlines.

Skills / Attributes

• Experience would be preferable to include Mechanical / Electrical and/or Wastewater Treatment
• 3 or more years on-site experience.
• Previous experience in design and build of water or wastewater projects.
• Possess a positive and pro-active approach to working in a team environment with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Client facing experience.
• Experience would be desirable with MS Project, P6 and BIM 360

Education Requirements

• 3rd Level qualification in Electrical Engineering / Safety management
