Our client, Moovmor Engineering Limited based in Kildare, Co. Kildare, is currently seeking Electrical Maintenance Technicians for immediate start at their facility in Kildare, Co. Kildare.

Qualifications

• There are no minimum academic requirements.
• Training will be provided on-the-job.
• A minimum of 2 years’ previous experience as an Electrical Maintenance Technician or similar is required.
• No formal qualifications are required for this role.

General Duties / Responsibilities / Experience

• To provide preventive and reactive electrical maintenance to waste compaction and recycling machinery and equipment.
• To work with electrical engineers to perform technical tasks and assist in the design, testing, manufacturing, operation and repair of electrical systems and industrial machinery.
• To install, maintain and troubleshoot electrical installations, circuitry and control panels according to required specifications.
• To monitor technical aspects of the installation, utilisation, maintenance and repair of electrical systems and equipment to ensure satisfactory performance and compliance with regulations.
• Essential knowledge for the role includes electrical components, control systems, electrical discharge and engineering drawings.
• Candidates must have knowledge of electrical testing methods, electrical wiring diagrams and electricity principles.
• Essential skills include aligning components, applying soldering techniques and adjusting electrical and engineering systems.
• Candidates must be competent to ensure material compliance, measure electrical characteristics and perform test runs.
• Candidates must have experience in recording test data, testing electrical equipment and reading technical drawings and blueprints.
• Previous experience in providing electrical maintenance within an industrial manufacturing or recycling machinery environment is a plus.
• 2 years of previous relevant experience as an Electrical Maintenance Technician or similar role is required.

Remuneration

Annual remuneration: €36,605.00; Pay rate €18.05 per hour.
