Qualifications

• A recognized Electrical Qualification.
• Experience in high-speed facilities and knowledge of packaging machines desirable.
• Automation experience with Siemens PLCs desirable.
• Experience with HMI & SCADA systems.
• Instrumentation and process control knowledge is required.
• Ability to work well independently and with cross-functional teams.
• Flexible with varying shift patterns.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Support the H&S system within Ornua through proactive participation.
• Responsible for asset performance and maintenance.
• Complete all preventative and reactive tasks assigned by the Engineering Lead.
• Work with operational and engineering teams to achieve site KPIs.
• Manage and execute assigned projects.
• Drive and support the Continuous Improvement program.
• Be a proactive member of the Ornua site engineering team.
• Participate in the Employee Development and performance management program.
• Participate in training programs and value-adding tasks from training sessions.
• Ensure full compliance with technical and food hygiene standards to meet quality and safety standards.
