Job summary

Aureol Global Connections is recruiting for an Electrical Fitter on behalf of Woodfab Timber Limited in Tinnakilly Upper, Aughrim, Co. Wicklow, Ireland.

The role covers installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of electrical and mechanical systems across automated production equipment, including conveyors, motors, drives, hydraulics and pneumatics. Expect fault-finding on PLC-controlled machinery and maintenance of 3-phase motor circuits and variable speed drives.

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate will have experience maintaining equipment in a manufacturing, timber processing, or industrial environment.
• Duties include fault-finding on PLC-controlled machinery, maintaining 3-phase motor circuits and drives, carrying out preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical systems on automated production equipment.
• Fault-find on PLC-controlled machinery and maintain 3-phase motor circuits and variable speed drives.
• Interpret electrical schematics and engineering drawings to diagnose faults and support safe, efficient production.
