Job summary

Jones Engineering in Cork Metropolitan Area is seeking an Electrical Engineer to play a pivotal role in project development and implementation. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver projects through technical assessments, reporting and stakeholder coordination.

The role supports progression towards Chartered Engineer status, with exposure to electrical engineering and construction across pharma/industrial sectors.

Qualifications

• A relevant 3rd level electrical qualification is essential.
• Electrical trade background would be advantageous.
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in a similar role is essential.
• Pharma / Industrial sector experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Reporting to the Project Manager on project progress, risks and issues.
• Analyse supplier information for alignment with design specifications.
• Review schematics, GA plans and project specifications.
• Design reviews and validation of equipment and systems.
• Complete technical submittals, RFIs, equipment registers and trackers.
• Review on-site quality to ensure compliance with the project team.
