Job summary

Morgan McKinley in Cork is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer to lead the full project lifecycle for pharma manufacturing settings. You will apply Electrical & Instrumentation expertise to install distribution boards, power upgrades, and HVAC replacements.

You will manage scopes, budgets, timelines, and coordinate with engineering, operations, and external contractors to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery while complying with electrical codes and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Solid background in Electrical & Instrumentation engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of Project Management E&I project delivery experience in pharma/MedTech/O&G/manufacturing or related consultancies.
• Advanced knowledge of electrical codes, standards and industry practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a team-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage projects from conception to completion, ensuring on-time delivery, budget compliance, and high quality.
• Develop project scopes, budgets, timelines, and define clear goals and deliverables.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and external contractors.
• Oversee design, installation, and commissioning of new electrical systems, distribution boards, and power upgrades.
• Conduct site surveys and feasibility studies to identify requirements and risks.
• Ensure all projects comply with electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations.
• Manage project documentation, including specifications, drawings, and change orders.
