Job summary

RedChair Recruitment is seeking an Electrical Design Co-Ordinator to design and coordinate electrical systems for industrial heating, ventilation and air filtration equipment. The role suits an Electrical Designer progressing to a client-facing coordination position or a qualified electrician moving away from hands-on work.

The position is on site and accessible from Killarney, Macroom and Millstreet, with salary open to negotiation based on experience.

Qualifications

• Recognised qualification in Electrical Design.
• Experience in HVAC, ventilation, industrial equipment or a similar engineering environment is essential.
• Strong knowledge of electrical design, circuits and control systems.
• Ability to read and produce electrical drawings and schematics.
• Good understanding of electrical components and systems.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and confidence dealing with clients.
• Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate electrical designs from initial requirements through to completion.
• Produce and review electrical drawings, schematics and circuit designs.
• Liaise directly with clients to understand requirements and provide technical solutions.
• Work closely with engineers, project managers, production and installation teams.
• Select and specify electrical components and control equipment.
• Identify and resolve design and circuit-related issues.
• Ensure designs meet project specifications, relevant standards and practical installation requirements.
• Provide technical support to clients and internal teams.
