Job summary

SSE Renewables seeks an experienced Electrical Construction Package Project Manager (CPPM) to lead the Electrical Balance of Plant on major onshore wind, solar and BESS projects across Ireland. You’ll own the electrical package from planning through handover, coordinating contractors and specialists to deliver safely and to programme.

You don’t need wind farm prior experience; you must understand HV/LV infrastructure, safety, commercial risk and contract mechanics.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Construction/Project Management, with HV/LV experience.
• Proven track record delivering complex construction packages from planning through handover.
• Knowledge of NEC and/or FIDIC contracts and project controls.
• Full driving licence and willingness to travel across Ireland.
• Commitment to safety and quality on site.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, coordination and delivery of eBoP work packages.
• Ensure safety, quality and cost targets on electrical construction.
• Monitor progress against milestones and provide program/risk reporting.
• Administer NEC and/or FIDIC contracts and manage variations.
• Collaborate with project teams, regulators, landowners and communities.
