Job summary

SSE Renewables is seeking an Electrical Construction Package Project Manager to lead the eBoP package on major onshore wind, solar and BESS projects across Ireland. You will own delivery from planning through commissioning, ensuring safety, quality and cost targets while coordinating with contractors and the project team.

Your background in electrical engineering and construction delivery, plus experience with NEC/FIDIC contracts and a safety-first approach, will help drive successful handover

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• Experience delivering HV and LV electrical infrastructure.
• Track record delivering complex construction packages.
• Strong knowledge of health, safety and environmental requirements.
• Experience working with NEC and/or FIDIC contracts.
• Willingness to travel across Ireland and hold a full driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Own Electrical Package Delivery: lead planning, coordination and delivery of eBoP work packages, ensuring safety, programme, quality and cost.
• Put Safety and Quality First: deliver electrical construction to SSE and industry standards with testing and commissioning oversight.
• Keep Delivery Moving: monitor site progress, report on programme, risk, budget and performance with governance.
• Manage the Commercial Detail: administer NEC/FIDIC contracts, manage variations, collaborate on cost and risk.
• Bring People With You: build relationships with teams, contractors, landowners and regulators to achieve outcomes.
