Job summary

Verto People Ltd in Berlin, Germany, seeks an Electrical Construction Manager to lead the electrical package of a large-scale project. The role is site-based, requires coordinating subcontractors, tracking labour, costs, and schedule while driving health, safety and quality.

You will report on progress, maintain project records, and ensure delivery to programme. The package offers up to €130,000 with accommodation, flights home and a hired car.

Qualifications

• Proven experience coordinating and managing large electrical installation projects.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety requirements on construction sites.
• Experience working on design-and-build projects.
• Good technical knowledge of electrical systems, with an understanding of mechanical systems.
• Experience dealing with industrial relations issues.
• Ability to work independently, communicate clearly and maintain strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full electrical systems package on a large-scale construction project.
• Lead day-to-day site operations across the electrical package.
• Drive a focused quality, health, safety and environmental culture across the team.
• Manage package costs, including direct labour, subcontractors, materials, plant, equipment, variations and valuations.
• Coordinate subcontractor activity, manpower levels and progress against programme.
• Schedule and track material deliveries in line with the project schedule.
• Issue weekly progress reports covering delays, design constraints, third-party hold ups, site access issues and percentage completion.
• Maintain project records, including labour-hour reporting, goods receipting and a weekly photographic diary.
