Job summary

Dornan Group is seeking an Electrical Chargehand to join our Athlone-based team on a pharmaceutical project. You will lead electrical crews, review drawings, and ensure safe, on-schedule delivery of installation works.

The role requires an Electrical trade qualification and a minimum of 1+ years supervising on large industrial or pharma projects. You will drive safety culture, manage materials, and coordinate with engineers and supervisors while maintaining GMP and client standards on site.

Qualifications

• Qualified electrician with at least 1+ year supervising electrical installs on large pharma/industrial projects.
• Strong GMP, ATEX and LOTO knowledge.
• Ability to interpret drawings, P&IDs and loop sheets.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate electrical crews to complete installations safely and on schedule.
• Review drawings, method statements, and permits; guide team and flag design issues to engineers.
• Manage materials and equipment, order timely deliveries, control usage on site.
• Drive safety performance with toolbox talks, enforce LOTO and SOPs.
