Job summary

ABB invites you to join our Electrification Services team in Ireland as an Electrical Apprentice Field Service Engineer. You will train locally in Ireland and work on-site from our Dublin location, supporting ABB equipment and the field service team.

The initial training provides a solid foundation in electrical engineering and ABB’s approach to the market. Upon completion, you will be proficient in commissioning, maintenance, diagnostics and repair, with understanding of 3-phase and

Qualifications

• Leaving Certificate with six subjects, maths at ordinary level preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication, proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team with a logical mindset.
• Full Clean Driving License; travel to customer sites will be required.

Responsibilities

• Commissioning and start-up of ABB equipment.
• Maintenance activities and diagnostics.
• Diagnostics and repair of electrical systems.
