Job summary

H&F Electrical Contractors Ltd is seeking motivated 2nd to 4th year Electrical Apprentices to join our team across Limerick and Clare. You will gain hands-on experience on site under supervision, assisting with electrical installations and learning from experienced electricians.

We offer mentoring, ongoing support through your apprenticeship phases and exposure to healthcare, pharmaceutical and industrial projects, helping you develop practical skills while meeting industry standards and safety

Qualifications

• Registered SOLAS Electrical Apprentice in 2nd to 4th year.
• Reliable, punctual and willing to learn.
• Valid Safe Pass and Manual Handling certification, or willingness to obtain them.

Responsibilities

• Assist with electrical installations on site.
• Install containment, pull and terminate cables, and wire equipment under supervision.
• Support testing, commissioning and fault-finding.
• Read and interpret drawings, schematics and specifications.
• Follow health and safety requirements, including safe isolation and lock-out/tag-out procedures.
• Complete site documentation and attend SOLAS training phases.

Requirements

Essential

• Registered SOLAS Electrical Apprentice, currently in 2nd to 4th year
• Reliable, punctual and willing to learn
• Valid Safe Pass and Manual Handling certification, or willingness to obtain them

Desirable

• Full driving licence
