Job summary

H&F Electrical Contractors Ltd in Limerick, Ireland is seeking motivated 2nd to 4th year SOLAS registered electrical apprentices to join our team on-site across Limerick and Clare. This is an opportunity to progress your apprenticeship while gaining hands-on experience with seasoned electricians.

This role offers mentoring and practical work on electrical installations, containment, wiring, testing and safety processes within healthcare, industrial and commercial projects.

Qualifications

• Registered SOLAS Electrical Apprentice, currently in 2nd to 4th year.
• Reliable, punctual and willing to learn.
• Valid Safe Pass and Manual Handling certification, or willingness to obtain them.
• Full driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Assist with electrical installations on site
• Install containment, pull and terminate cables, and wire equipment under supervision
• Support testing, commissioning and fault-finding
• Read and interpret drawings, schematics and specifications
• Follow health and safety requirements, including safe isolation and lock-out/tag-out procedures
• Complete site documentation and attend SOLAS training phases
