LSC, Life Science Consultants seeks an EHS Specialist for a contract role in Limerick. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech sector and will develop, implement and monitor environmental, health and safety programs in alignment with regulations and company standards.

The role involves leading EHS procedures, conducting risk assessments, delivering training, and managing incident response. Eligibility to work in Ireland (Stamp 1G/Stamp 4) is required.

Formación

• BS/ BA in Health and Safety with 3-5 years of EHS experience in pharma or similar industry.
• Experience in developing and maintaining EHS programs.
• Knowledge of government regulations and company standards.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, implement and monitor environmental, health & safety programs to ensure compliance with all applicable government regulations and company standards and values.
• Drive effective writing/revising/rolling out of accurate operational procedures, training materials and EHS related procedures, ensure all work is subsequently carried out in line with same.
• Participate in process and system walk-downs and the completion of safety reviews with active follow up of action closure.
• Identify and address site EHS issues and employee concerns.
• Perform EHS risk assessments such as: chemical; biological; machinery; area; task specific; and make recommendations to control hazards.
• Develop, implement and maintain training programs for health, safety and the environment. Support EHS training and inductions for new hires, ongoing refresher training for existing staff and deliver EHS related training programmes to all levels within the organization.
• Maintain the EHS incident management process on site. Manage EHS incidents to closure, including root cause analysis and CAPA management.

ABOUT YOU - ARE YOUR SKILLS A MATCH?
