Job summary

Johnson Controls Ireland HVAC is seeking a Project EHS Advisor to provide expert environmental, health and safety guidance to project management teams across live and planned works in ROI. You will help implement the EHS management system and ensure compliance with Irish regulations.

The role involves risk assessment, incident investigations, audits, training needs, and collaboration with clients, contractors and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Member of IOSH, CMIOSH preferred.
• Degree or equivalent in Environmental, Health and Safety.
• 3–5 years minimum EHS experience on large construction projects.
• Strong understanding of Irish legislation and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Act as EHS advisor to project management teams and develop plans to drive continuous improvement.
• Present EHS data to clients and project leaders.
• Assess and control risks on projects and ensure compliance.
• Maintain relationships with Clients, Project Managers and Contractors.
• Promote a strong EHS culture on projects.
• Monitor compliance with legal standards and address weaknesses promptly.
• Draft and communicate EHS plans for projects.
