Job summary

EHS Advisor - Main Contractor in Dublin is responsible for providing Environmental, Health and Safety oversight across multiple construction projects. The role ensures compliance with Irish EHS legislation and client requirements, delivering training and maintaining safety documentation.

The ideal candidate holds an OH&S qualification with 3-5 years of construction EHS experience and strong communication skills to work with multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years' experience in construction EHS.
• Qualification in Occupational Health & Safety or related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of risk assessment processes and safe systems of work.
• Familiarity with Irish EHS regulations.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and enforce EHS compliance across site activities.
• Conduct site inspections, audits, and RAMS reviews.
• Support permit-to-work systems and method statements.
• Deliver toolbox talks, inductions, safety briefings.
• Investigate incidents and near misses; report and track corrective actions.
• Liaise with site management, subcontractors, and workforce on EHS procedures.
• Ensure compliance with Irish legislation, EU directives, and client requirements.
• Maintain EHS documentation and reporting systems.
• Assist with emergency preparedness and on-site drills.
