Job summary

QCS Staffing Ltd seeks an EHS Engineer for a life sciences site in Sligo, Ireland. This initial 12-month contract focuses on sustaining plant availability, supporting capital projects, and advancing process safety and regulatory compliance.

You will read P&IDs and various process drawings, manage safety-critical RAMS, and collaborate with engineering, construction, vendors, and contractors to ensure robust controls and safe operation.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, PFDs and drawings.
• Knowledge of RAMS and risk assessment practices.
• Experience supporting capital projects and shutdowns.
• Familiarity with permit-to-work, LOTO and related safety controls.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering services to maximise site equipment availability.
• Manage capital projects up to €5 million within the site lifecycle.
• Support engineering teams to improve process and equipment performance.
• Assist in operational improvements and process safety initiatives.
• Offer process engineering support and technical troubleshooting on site.
