Job summary

QCS Staffing Ltd seeks an EHS Engineer for a 12-month contract at a state-of-the-art pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in Sligo, Ireland. The role focuses on providing engineering services to maximise equipment and utilities availability, and managing capital projects up to €5 million.

You will support uptime, process efficiency and continual improvements, working with engineering, construction, vendors and contractors to ensure technical adequacy of controls within a life sciences setting.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, PFDs, equipment layouts and drawings.
• Experience in Process Safety and Technical Risk Assessment.
• Significant EHS experience supporting capital projects, shutdowns, and contractor work.
• RAMS review, Permit-to-Work, LOTO, line breaking, confined space, height work, lifting operations and hot work.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering services to maximise availability of site process equipment and utilities.
• Manage capital projects up to €5 million following the Project Lifecycle approach.
• Support uptime and efficiency of process equipment and plant performance.
• Assist with continual operational improvements and technical troubleshooting.
