Job summary

A well-established referral hospital near Dublin seeks a Board-Certified Specialist in Emergency & Critical Care (ECC) to join its senior clinical team and lead advanced ECC services.

The role involves managing complex cases, collaborating with other specialists, supervising residents and nursing staff, and contributing to clinical governance and service development. Relocation and visa support available.

Qualifications

• Board-Certified in ECC (ACVECC/ECVECC or equivalent).
• Strong interest in advanced emergency and critical care medicine.
• Enjoys collaboration, leadership and clinical governance.
• Mentors and supports junior clinicians and nursing teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex emergency and critical care referral cases.
• Collaborate with other specialist services for optimal outcomes.
• Participate in rota and on-call duties appropriate to a senior role.
• Contribute to clinical protocols, service development and quality improvement.
• Support and mentorship of residents, interns and ECC nursing teams.
